This new collection of artworks is the result of exploring the visual nothingness, the empty spaces.

When we are not looking for something, nothing becomes everything.

The artworks are based on observation of self created photos at the spaces in between elements that create the negative spaces, with a digital manipulation Nada extract the “nothing’ out of the image and create new compositions, turning the negative into the positive.

It all started in meditation and searching after inspiration for an experimental typography project.  Nada couldn’t think about anything and this moment is the key of Nothing artworks.

How can it be that we don't think about anything?

Actually the thought itself is already something, our expectation is to see symbols, letters, images, and the absence of this makes us see it as empty.

An empty sheet of paper, still has texture, color, size, etc. 

In music, there are pauses, those small moments of silence, create the rhythm and without them the music could not exist, it would only be constant noise.

Everything that exists has its negative space and in a certain way they complement each other.
