There is something seductive and captivating in repetition, to observe in the same form, in the same object that is replicated small or growing in a fixed ratio, with a natural dynamism. As in hypnosis, the twisting spiral shape pulls you inward, as if you are trapped inside a twister. You are drawn to the light at the end of the tunnel, going captive after a rose, which is left behind like the shoe of Cinderella, after love—or perhaps these are the angels and holy souls in heaven.
